Professional and personalised ceremonies designed especially for you.

Congratulations!  No doubt it is an exciting time for you, as a couple, as you begin to plan for your wedding and the marriage ceremony that will be the beginning of your new life together.  No two couples are alike or desire the same ceremony as anyone else.

Ceremonies are special for both the bride and groom, and because of this I want to help you create the wedding ceremony as individual as the couple desiring the best ceremony possible.  Civil weddings allow the flexibility to make that special day even more special.

I am legally able to marry a bride a groom in any State or Territory in Australia or in Australian territorial water.  Ceremonies I can perform include:

Weddings

Naming Ceremonies

Commitment Ceremonies

Renewal of Vows

Funerals

To be able to create a special ceremony that is individually tailored to each couple I will ask all my couples to fill out a pre-marriage questionnaire.  This questionnaire gives me an insight into their personal history, and I can them use the information to write a story about each couple that can be included into their ceremony.

My Wedding Services include:

My fee is all inclusive, with no hidden extras.

I am willing to travel within 100 kilometres around the Rockhampton region.  All areas outside 100 kilometres, including interstate travel, is by arrangement.

I have several options that can be included in your ceremony, such as the “Unity Candle”, “Rose Petal Ring”, “Sand Ceremony”, and many more.

I will ensure that I will arrive one hour before the ceremony start time in order to be able to set up and complete a sound check before the ceremony begins.

You will be given a presentation Marriage Certificate.

I am responsible for the lodgement of all legal paperwork after the ceremony.

As much contact as is needed, either by telephone, email or face to face.

Most ceremonies will take approximately 25 minutes (from the arrival of the bride to the presentation of the marriage certificate).

Prior to the wedding:

Our first meeting will be to discuss your wedding ceremony details.  At this time we will get to know each other and discuss any ideas about how you want your ceremony.

If you wish to retain me as your Celebrant, we will then go ahead and fill in the “Notice of Intention to Marry” (form 13).  The law requires that this form is lodged with your Celebrant at least one month and one day before your wedding date, and is valid for eighteen months.

I will also need to sight both original birth certificates (either full or extract) and if necessary, divorce papers, death certificates or passports.

Finally , I will require a deposit to secure the date of your wedding.  The balance of which will be due three weeks before the ceremony.
